author's note

It's been almost two years and almost one hundred posts since I began posting my drainage here. It was a place to recount events or introduce ideas outside of my other blog (at the time, blogs). Posting here is therapeutic.

Recently, I've decided to consolidate my thoughts and findings and writings into one place. That place became ThoughtChasm.com. I have brought the entire Drainage archive amongst the posts there and will post there exclusively after today.

The posts may be erratically scheduled but will appear here: ThoughtChasm.com/category/drainage much as they've been appearing here.

The tone there is notably different, more playful, less anonymous (to a point) and less personal (though there is a certain distance to these posts). Because they are so dissimilar, it was something I thought over more than is likely assumed.

In the end, Thought Chasm and Drainage are two different sides to a coin. I'm not worth much without both. If you are a reader from there things remain the same, but for checking here or having Drainage within your RSS reader.

If you are a Drainage reader you may need to change bookmarks or RSS feeds (http://thoughtchasm.com/feed/). If you like the posts here but dislike those of Thought Chasm, book mark the page linked above and they will appear much as they do now, with a different look and without an archive.

Comments were sparse but the posts weren't based on a feedback model. Thought Chasm is more robust and varied but still a collection of thoughts and happenings.

Mostly, thanks for reading.
